FIC Forms Committee on Real-Estate

Representatives of FIC member companies from real-estate and other related sectors, participated at the inaugural session of the FIC Real-Estate Committee, with the aim to further work on advocating for ease of doing business in this specific segment of the market.
Djordje Pavkovic Bugarski, Executive Director at Hauzmajstor, was elected as the Head of the newly formed committee. In his address Pavkovic Bugarski pointed out that the goal of this committee should be to make efforts in order to improve the regulatory framework and promote best practices in this important sector that has substantial influence on overall business climate.
The Committee will focus on the new Law on Construction and the Law on Managing and Maintaining Properties, as well as looking into other burning issues related to the real-estate sector. This Committee plans to develop close cooperation with the relevant Ministries and state authorities, as well as with other significant sectoral organizations in order to actively contribute to the improvement of the overall conditions in the real-estate sector.
