FIC Organized Media Brunch

Foreign Investors Council organized Media Brunch on Thursday, December 17th, 2009 in Madera restaurant.
This was a great opportunity to present newly elected FIC Board of Directors to the editors of all relevant media that were present at the event. The aim of the event was to thank the media for their support and objective reporting so far, and express a wish for further successful joint cooperation.
From the side of the FIC BoD were present: Kjell-Morten Johnsen - FIC President (Telenor), and members of the Board of Directors: Kristian Kornerup Jensen (BAT), Aleksandar Radosavljevic (Carlsberg), Nenad Vukovic (Henkel), and Vasillis Glinos (PepsiCo).
From the media side, representatives were mostly economy editors from Danas, Biznis, Nin, Privredni Pregled, etc.
FIC President Kjell-Morten Johnsen opened the brunch by welcoming the editors and noting that the idea of this event was to meet each other and initiate more open and direct contact. He briefly presented the newly elected FIC Board of Directors, pointing to the fact that each member was more than firm in the decision to make FIC stronger, and that he personally would invest efforts to make FIC better functioning. He also stated that having in mind his personal experience from other countries, it was necessary to be persistent in order to reach certain goals. To that end, if the FIC BoD convey ideas to the media people who would than write about it, joint efforts could lead to the ideas to become realized, thus influencing the overall improvement of the business climate in Serbia. He finished his introductory speech by adding that FIC Board of Directors was media partner in spreading FIC messages.
