David Vander Schueren

Delhaize Serbia, B&H and Montenegro

Mr. David Vander Schueren has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Delhaize Group operations in Serbia, Bosnia Herzegovina and Montenegro in July 2011. He has spent the last three years in the United States as the Senior Vice President of the Category Management Initiative for Delhaize America.

Mr. Vander Schueren joined Hannaford in 2008 as the SVP of Merchandising, responsible for all fresh and center store. He previously served as the SVP of Category Management and Logistics for Delhaize Belgium, where he oversaw all aspects of merchandising, quality assurance, supply chain, trucking and distribution of the food and non-food items sold in the store networks.

Mr. Vander Schueren has two master's degrees, in Commerce and Management and in Applied Computer Sciences, from the Catholic University of Mons.
