Milena Jaksic Papac has been working at Karanovic & Nikolic Law Office since 2008. She graduated at the Law Faculty at the University of Belgrade. Prior to joining Karanovic & Nikolic she obtained judicial experience by working in Municipal Court. She is registered as an attorney at the Belgrade Bar Association.

Ms. Papac is currently focused on advising clients on all matters relating to labour law. Being a member of Employment Department, she is providing advice on employment issues to multinational companies and numerous local and regional entities, international organizations and diplomatic missions. She was a member of the team in many of the transactions in Serbia and in Montenegro.

Her work includes providing legal opinions, daily employment advice and drafting employment contracts, general enactments of employers, resolutions and other employment related documents, as well as participation in due diligence procedures related to acquisitions of domestic companies. She advises the clients on labour issues arising in connections with privatization, mergers and acquisitions, trade unions, collective bargaining, provides assistance in labour disputes, redundancy proceedings, termination of employment, outsourcing, etc. She is providing daily consultancy on various employment issues, salaries and employment benefits, sick leaves, health and safety at work, assistance in relation to working status of foreign employees, residence and work permits, as well as in secondment of employees to work in foreign countries. She is also experienced in adjusting the foreign jurisdictions labour documents with local Labour Law, as well as with Montenegrin and Bosnian labour law.
