Nexe Group

Nexe Group is composed of 24 enterprises that are doing their business in three countries.

In Serbia Nexe Group is managing its affairs via three enterprises:  AD Polet IGK,  Novi Bečej, DOO Stražilovo from Sremski Karlovci and AD Jelen Do from Jelen Dol. All three enterprises are included into the business frame of Nexe Group since 2003. 

Since then and up to the present moment Nexe Group invested more than 52 million EURO into Serbia, out of which Polet 36,5 million EURO, Jelen Do 10,48 million EURO and Stražilovo 5,09 million EURO. 

In 2004 the plant C3 in Polet was reconstructed so that their annual production of roofing tiles „Ideal" reaches the amount of 20 million pieces.  Next year, in 2005 two investments were put into effect. Lingl plant was reconstructed and is now capable of producing 22 types of special tiles for the complete roof formation (3 million pieces per year) and 11 million pieces of crown tiles. The other large investment in 2005 was the installation of the new line for the production of flooring tiles having the capacity of 4.000 m2 per day i.e. 1.400.000 m2 per year (basic format 33 cm x 33 cm).  

The works on the new factory study are in progress so that such factory will  be capable of tile firing in so called „H" cassettes  with the planned investments of more than 20 million EURO. Polet would obtain the latest technology for the production of tiles in Serbia.

Stražilovo IGM is now reconstructing the plant 1.The value of the complete investment works is 10,3 million EURO.  By this investment project Stražilovo would become the largest producer of thermal blocks in Serbia. The capacity of the factory would be increased more than twice. Since the privatization, about million EURO was invested into the modernization of plant 2 in Stražilovo.    

Since the privatization in 2003, about two million USD was invested into the modernization  of Jelen Dol for improving the technological process.  During 2004/2005 Grabovik quarry was reconstructed from which 800.000 tons of stone are obtained every year. The crushing plant of  250 stone capacity per hour was installed in the quarry Suvodo and the gas line is being laid.  

By using the up-to-date organizational technical and technological solutions, the emissions of harmful particles into the atmosphere and the production of waste are constantly supervised, prevented and reduced, thus intensifying the awareness of environmental protection. The Action Plan of environmental protection is the integral part of Jelen Do business plan.  For that purpose 763.604 EURO will be invested in 2007.  

Nexe Group in Serbia employs 890 workers what is our highest value. 175.000 USD was invested in education and vocational training, in Polet 150.000 USD, in Jelen Dol 25.000 USD and in Stražilovo 3.200 USD.

Nexe Group in the area of Serbia supports the projects from the various spheres of life of the community in which its members operate considering such approach the essential segment of socially responsible management of affairs of a business enterprise.  A support of 86.000 EURO was granted to local community last year.

The policy and the manner of carrying out the business operations of Nexe Group in all its members, and the whole Serbia, is the modernization and increase of the capacities, investment into education, the employment and environmental protection.
