III Annual International CEDEF Forum: Energy Supply and Energy Security

Central European Development Forum, CEDEF, under the sponsorship of the Public Enterprise "Electric Power Industry of Serbia" and in cooperation with the Energy Efficiency Agency of the Republic of Serbia, organizes the III Annual International Forum - Energy supply and energy security, scheduled for 21. September 2012th in Nis.
WHAT?
III Annual International Forum - Energy supply and energy security aims to highlight the ways and possibilities to increase energy security by comprehensive analysis of energy resources and reserves and existing infrastructure for energy distribution in the region of Southeast Europe, and to provide suggestions for improving this sector. Energy security and economy of one region can be achieved through the safety delivery of energy and security of energy supply. There are many critical points of the future energy status in region, primarily insufficient number of energy capacity, with the constant growth of demand for energy. The average annual growth rate of demand for energy in the JIE region is estimated at 2.3%, which is twice more than the previous decade.
Participants:
The conference will be attended by over 300 representatives of ministries, agencies, local governments, investors, industries, embassies, chambers of commerce, development organizations and the media.
